Zoya Yusuf
Zoya is a dedicated and compassionate associate family lawyer. Her passion for Family Law is driven by her desire to help people. She prides herself in her welcoming nature and is devoted to helping clients achieve their desired results during a difficult time in their lives. She understands that the legal realm can be daunting and is skilled to help her clients navigate the system.
Zoya earned a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) from the University of Toronto and graduated with a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) from the University of Leicester, England. On return from England, Zoya completed her Master of Laws, focused on Canadian Common Law through Osgoode Hall Law School.
While doing her Master of Laws, Zoya spent two semesters as a student volunteer at the Family Law Information Clinic, Ontario Court of Justice where she assisted low-income and self-represented litigants in navigating their family law disputes.
Prior to joining Wells Family Law, Zoya articled for a general practice firm in Calgary, where she practiced Family, Immigration, Wills, and Criminal law. Her experience while working on family law cases and her time while volunteering led her to realize that her true passion and skills align with Family Law.
Outside of the office, Zoya can be found exploring the Rocky Mountains, painting, and learning new sports like golf. She is fluent in Urdu and Hindi.
